WARRANTY CLAIM

COMPLETE WARRANTY

All original Barely Xtensions® products are covered by a 90-day replacement guarantee. If your extensions are deemed faulty within 90 days of purchase, you will be issued a replacement at no cost.

Merchandise claimed as defective must be returned within 30 days of requesting a replacement. The sole determination of whether the product has a valid factory defect will be made by our Quality Control staff. Upon review, Quality Control’s decision on a defective claim will be communicated to the customer. You must send back the hair to have it inspected, no exceptions. 

​This replacement guarantee does not cover the following:

  1. Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as hair dying, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging.

  2. Tampering, such as repair, attempted repair, or modifications to the product.

  3. Defects resulting from physical damage of the product by the customer.

  4. Damage resulting from failure to follow Barely Xtensions®’ training guides and manuals, guides on proper use and customer maintenance, and application techniques, instructions, and methods as published by Barely Xtensions® from time to time.

  5. Specialty colors are subject to fading. Fading on specialty colors will not be considered a manufacturer defect for warranty purposes. Specialty colors include but may not be limited to: Lilac, Purple, Hot Pink, Balayage True Blonde/Candy Pink, Metallic Silver.

All products over the 90-day period, are then covered by a limited replacement product warranty if it is defective in workmanship or materials. If the extensions are no longer available, you will be issued the item closest to your original product. Barely Xtensions® aged 91+days will be subject to a $45.00 replacement fee plus any additional shipping costs.

All Barely Xtensions® products must be registered in our warranty program within 7 days of purchase to qualify.

This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as lifting, coloring, or treating the extensions or cutting the adhesive tabs or wefts, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging.

  • Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.

  • Replacement units issued

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID: (1) IF THE PRODUCT IS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED SELLER OF BARELY XTENSIONS® AND (2) IF THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE ON THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE (12) TWELVE MONTHS OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY.  

IN NO EVENT SHALL BARELY XTENSIONS® BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, BARELY XTENSIONS® DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES, STATUTORY WARRANTIES, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BARELY XTENSIONS® BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING DAMAGES FROM LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS, LITIGATION, OR THE LIKE), SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.

REPLACEMENTS OUTSIDE OF 90 DAYS

Your extensions are still covered by our limited one-year replacement warranty. This means extensions aged 91+ days will be subject to a $45.00 replacement fee plus any shipping costs.​

All Barely Xtensions® products are individually tested before leaving the factory. However, in the unlikely event of Barely Xtensions® products proving defective due to faulty workmanship or materials within 1 year of the date of purchase then, at its sole discretion and subject to the terms of this warranty, Barely Xtensions® undertakes to replace the extensions, subject to a fee for shipping and handling. This warranty does not cover products sold by unauthorized dealers. This warranty does not cover if damage has been caused by dying the extensions e or if repair has been attempted by any unauthorized person.
